The Mothershoppers Festive Edit

Posted by on

We invited our two favourite celebrity stylists Mothershoppers, AKA Gemma & Bertie, into our Islington Pant HQ to curate their festive edit. From underwear to sleepwear, plus a few lil' stocking fillers, we loved seeing their 'pick of the knix' - from everyday bra-drobe staples to something a little more special - and their own inimitable style ...

---

Gemma:  A good t-shirt bra is the foundation of every underwear wardrobe. This one has lightweight underwires and a slightly padded cup, as well as convertible straps ( meaning it can be worn with both racerback and halter neck styles ). Whether you're a thong girl or, like me, a big pants girl ( or somewhere in between ), you need these matching pants in your life - seam-free, really comfy, stretchy, and available in a wide range of sizes and shades.

Bertie: I've gone for super-comfy wire-free blush bralette with matching big pants ( also available as a thong ) - the bralette also converts to racerback and halter styles.

B: Next up, a festive pairing. Gemma's gone for red and I've gone for green - it is Christmas! I've actually got this set at home. The longline bra has a mono wire, and the matching pants ( tanga & mid rise brief ) are seam-free, really great!

G: I've gone for a classic red lace bra  - I think it's very sophisticated - with the matching brief. I would like these in my stocking please, Santa!

B: Talking of stockings, stocking fillers next! I've gone for a quiet night in with my cosy merino & alpaca socks and a botanical sleep mask for bedtime.

G: And I've gone for the 'going out' version with my sparkly socks and this fab oversized scrunchie, made from deadstock material.

B: Next, dressing gowns! I've gone for oversized, super big, super comfy with this navy cotton robe ...

G: ... And I've gone for this lovely cotton, jungle print version, to pair with these simple, elegant, luxurious silk pyjamas.

B: And I've gone for the crazy maximalist look with this fab feline print pair!

G: What drew you to those?

B: I wonder?!

G: What drew me to black & white? It's basically us in pyjama form.
