This special Top Of The T*ts is from Pant Patrol member Annie ~ here are some of her favourite spots in and around North and East London to celebrate the opening of businesses after a long lockdown for most!
Four Legs at the Compton Arms - 4 Compton Ave, N1 2XD
Located close to our Flagship Islington store the Compton Arms true neighborhood pub. The kitchen is run by the incredible Four Legs who have recently collaborated with Yard Sale Pizza to make our burger/pizza dreams come true. The food at the Compton Arms is much finessed, the lobster apple salad from the ever changing menu was a real show stopper. You’ll have to be quick for a table with these guys, they teased on Instagram they have a 400 person strong waiting list for cancellation slots - p.s I'm on that list.

A Flower Shop - 62 Chatsworth Road, E5 0LS
Having discovered this beautiful selection in the small but perfectly formed shop at the Ace Hotel, Shoreditch, A Flower shop has recently moved to a bright and airy studio on Chatsworth Road. We can’t wait to grab a coffee from Millfields and stroll through the Sunday market and pick up a bunch of their seasonal flowers, all sustainably sourced and almost exclusively locally grown, alongside plants, gifts and homewares.
Loop - 15 Camden Passage, London, N1 8EA
Anyone else picked up the needles in lockdown? Keep it up and support our local knitting utopia. Located a few shops down from us on Camden Passage, Loop offers a huge selection for any skill range [which works for us!]. Not just a store, they have built the most amazing community, using their space to host workshops and events, no surprise they have been voted the best Independent knitting shop in London.

Hill & Szrok - Master Butcher and Cookshop - 60 Broadway Market, E8 4QJ
At the heart of the London Fields community, Hill & Szrok has provided a whole-carcass butchery and cookshop for the last 7 years. The butchers in the day offers great value produce that can be fully traced back to its source. These guys work with independent farmers who rear their livestock using traditional, low-intervention methods. That means less waste and a higher standard of produce throughout our butchery, deli and restaurant. The restaurant opens at 7pm, dining is set around the butchers block in the middle of the shop, the menu changes daily based on the seasonal produce and what they have in the butchers.
Wild Swans - 152 Upper Street, Islington, N1 1RA
Bringing scandi style to London, Wild Swans Danish founder, Caroline van Luthje specialises in creating calm spaces with 95% Scandinavian product mix. The Islington and Chicwick stores offer Champagne at the weekend [we’re in] and toys to entertain the kids while you shop. If you’re in need of a little guidance after wearing nothing but PJs for a year [nothing wrong with that!] They offer a personal styling service and can steer you too to look scandi chic.
