At The Pantry Underwear, our focus is firmly on fit, as an ill-fitting bra will be uncomfortable, irritating - and will most likely not provide the support you deserve!

Combining a decade of expertise with AI scanning technology, we offer the same personalised fitting experience you'll receive in our stores, from the comfort of your own home.

How does an online bra fitting work?

An online bra fitting is a secure video call. It’s very similar to the in-person experience you’d have if you visited one of our stores, and is between just you and your fitter. All our fitters ( otherwise known as ‘Pant Patrol’ ) are fully trained and knowledgeable across a number of specialties, including bridal underwear solutions, maternity, post-surgery and first bra fittings.

Online bra fittings at The Pantry Underwear combine the latest digital technology with one-to-one, tailored advice to ensure we make the best possible fit recommendations for you.

Prior to meeting with a fitter on a video call, you will be asked to supply measurements via our online measuring tool. These involve just x2 photos being taken fully clothed, which are used by the technology to produce measurements. Neither the company nor the fitter will be able to view the photos. 

An online bra fitting typically takes no more than 30 minutes, and is completely free of charge, with no obligation to buy anything during or following the fitting.


Is this a new service?

This is an evolution of our celebrated online fitting service.

We’ve been offering online bra fittings since 2020. Whilst they originally began as a way to serve our community of Pant Pals during the global pandemic, they’ve grown to become a core part of our offering, helping us to banish the dread of bra fitting beyond the reach of our physical stores.

This exciting new iteration brings together our unparalleled understanding of fit with the latest digital 3D scanning technology.


How do I book an online bra fitting, and when are they available?

You can book an online bra fitting via the ‘Book a fitting’ or ‘Online fitting’ pages of our website. Once you choose a date, you will see all of the available time slots. We have online booking availability during our store opening hours, as well as additional evening and weekend slots too. Availability can vary - if you’d like to book a time that’s not currently available, email hello@thepantryunderwear.com and we’ll do our very best to ‘fit’ you in.

Do I need to do anything before the video call?

Before your call, we ask you to submit a couple of simple scans via our online measuring tool. This will take just a few minutes and the instructions will guide you throughout. All you need is a camera-enabled smartphone. And you don’t need to undress - the scans work best when you wear form fitting clothing. 


Why do I need to submit measurements via the tool, and who will see them?

Submitting the scans ahead of your online fitting gives your fitter an under and over bust measurement, as well as an idea of the unique shape of your bust. As soon as you submit scans, they are mapped into 3D images - no photographic images are saved. Your fitter will see only the mapped image ( example below ).
 

What if I don’t submit my measurements via the tool, can I still have an online fitting?

You can still meet with a fitter without having submitted your measurements, but the accuracy of the recommendations will be compromised. Without the measurements, it will be essential to show the fitter the bra that you are currently wearing, ideally an underwired bra that you know the size of.

Are my photographs stored anywhere?


Your image captures via the online measurement tool are not stored, and are instead used to produce a measurement result. The measurements produced and the 3D model of your silhouette are supplied to your fitter ahead of the online bra fitting. You will be asked if you would like these measurements to be deleted so they are not accessible to fitters in future. In most cases, for future bookings we would recommend that you re-supply measurements via the online tool anyway, especially if it has been 6 months or longer since your last appointment. 

What happens during the online bra fitting? Do I need any special equipment?

Most people prefer to have an online fitting from the comfort of their own home, but you can be anywhere that makes you feel safe and secure. You can use your phone, laptop or tablet for the call ( you’ll need to have the camera and microphone enabled ) and you’ll ideally be somewhere with good lighting, that’s not too noisy, with a stable internet connection.

When it’s time for your online bra fitting, click the link in your confirmation email to join the secure video call.

It’s helpful for your fitter to see you wearing one of your current bras, if you are happy to show them. They’ll start by asking you how the bra feels, and will run a few simple fit points and follow-up questions to better understand how it fits you. You’re then free to pop your shirt on for the rest of the fitting!

With this info, as well as the data from your scan, the fitter will then show you shapes and styles on The Pantry Underwear website, selected to suit your shape and your bra-drobe needs. 


What happens after the online bra fitting? 


All of your recommended styles and sizes will be saved to your ‘Fit List’. Your fitter will share this via email following your call. It will also be saved to your customer profile, which can be viewed at any time by signing into your customer account at www.thepantryunderwear.com.


How do I place an order?

After reviewing your ‘Fit List’ recommendations, you can place an order on The Pantry Underwear website. We are based in the United Kingdom, but can ship orders worldwide.

What if I’m unsure of the items I buy following an online bra fitting?

If you have any queries on fit after receiving your order, you can book in for a quick ‘fit check’ ( you won’t need to resubmit your scans ). A Pant Patroller can assess the fit of each bra, and recommend if an alternative size or style is needed.

In case you do want to return any items, we offer free returns and exchanges within the UK on purchases made following an online fitting.


Can anyone book an online bra fitting? 

Our online fitting service is available to all bra-wearers. If you’re under the age of 18, you will need to have a parent or guardian present during the fitting. 


Will the online bra fitting be recorded? Will anyone else be present on the call?

No, your online bra fitting won’t be recorded or shared with anyone. Only you and a Pant Patroller will be present on the call. Our online fitters work from a private space within our stores, or from their own homes.
